Sue also runs workshops at her studio in Lelant near St Ives Cornwall. The workshops are tailor-made to suit the needs of the students with a maximum of two per session. Everything from simple traditional cyanotypes using dried flowers and foliage through to advanced computerised negatives using the students own photographs. The cost covers tuition and all materials.
None of the chemicals used are hazardous but proper housekeeping and safety will be taught.
Workshops cost £160 for a one to one session (or £120pp for 2 people) and run from 10am to 5pm with an hour for a light lunch which is included in the price. All materials and safety wear is included. All you need to bring are some photographs you wish to turn into cyanotypes. These are best brought on a memory stick but if this is not possible they can can be scanned during the workshop. Alternatively you can send your image prior to the workshop and Sue will prepare a negative for you giving you more time to enjoy the printing process.
